Natural Cures

The following are a few home remedies that have proved to be beneficial in coping with the problem of bone spurs:

Some helpful herbs and spices
Herbs like turmeric, arnica and chamomile have been used successfully in the treatment of bone spurs. Here is how to properly use them:

Curcumin – The yellow pigment found in turmeric is believed to contain healing properties that aid in treating bone spurs. Consume approximately 500 to 1000 milligrams of Curcumin three to four times each day for about six weeks.
Infuse arnica or chamomile in water and soak affected joints in this water. Or, alternatively, wrap the herbs in a cloth and apply the cloth to the affected area as a poultice.
Rose hip and horsetail tea is believed to help heal and rebuild tissue. Add one teaspoon of herbs to one cup of boiling water, boil for ten minutes and strain. Drink one cup three times each day.

Tea Tree Oil

Apply an ice pack on the inflamed area four to five times each day to reduce acute pain.
Reduce inflammation by applying heat to the inflamed area. Use a hot water bottle or heating pad to apply heat on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, four to five times each day.
